Lt. Governor and Commissioner of Higher Ed help Kearns HS students apply to college

As part of the first week of Utah College Application Week events, Lt. Governor Spencer Cox and Commissioner of Higher Education David Buhler visited Kearns High School the morning of Wednesday, November 12, 2014.  They spoke with students applying to college, and helped them understand the importance of their decision to continue their education after high school.

Kearns High School participated in Utah College Application Week’s pilot last year. During that school year, 82 percent of Kearns High School’s seniors completed at least one college application. The school is hoping 85 percent of seniors complete at least one college application this year.
