YOU ARE college material!
Put aside any doubts you may have and start believing in yourself. In spite of roadblocks, you can reach your dreams by stepping up to higher education. But, you may need some help along the way. Mentors and tutors are available to help support students who are facing academic challenges. Utah’s higher education institutions, in partnership with public schools and community partners, offer numerous student outreach and support programs, and resources. These programs offer elementary, junior high and high school students positive programming and assistance to sustain their interest and achievement all the way through college.
The Program Search is a resource tool, coordinated by the College Access Network of Utah, that helps students, parents, families, and educators to find services and support within a specific school or region. Because each of our colleges and universities has a unique mission, these program and resources vary in name, scope, and service. But, they all provide services and support to increase access, personal development, and potential for academic success for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We suggest that you visit this search tool often as programs are continually added and enhanced. The Program Search can increase your awareness of available resources and aid you in making connections with programs of interest.
