The 15 to Finish campaign encourages Utah’s college students to graduate on time and save in tuition. Most degrees in the Utah System of Higher Education require at least 120 credits to complete, so if students want to finish their associate degree in two years or bachelor’s degree in four years, they need to take a minimum of 15 credit hours each semester.
Students who take 15 credits each semester:
- Are more likely to complete college on time and earn better grades than their peers who take fewer credits.
- Finish college faster and can start on a career that provides financial independence and increased lifetime earnings.
15 to Finish encourages students to meet with an academic advisor so they take the right 15 credits leading to a degree.
